Founder & Car Specialist

Sam is a local dad with a fascinating career journey. He started out playing rugby for England U21s before traveling the world delivering luxury superyachts and even working as a stunt driver on film sets. After settling in Devon, Sam created a hugely successful business crafting much-loved farmhouse tables, known for their quality and craftsmanship. Now, Sam is bringing his experience and passion for great customer service to Family Car Guy, using his tech knowledge to help source top quality, reliable cars for families. His approach is all about ensuring you get a car that truly fits your needs and lifestyle.

Michelle

Founder and Car Specialist

Michelle has spent the last 25 years as a Tour Director, guiding American high schoolers on educational trips across Europe. Now, she's a professional tour guide in the stunning regions of Devon and Cornwall, and also teaches communication skills to medical students as an actor. Growing up with a different car on the driveway every weekend—thanks to her dad, who imported cars from Belgium—Michelle's love for cars has been with her from the start. She gets great satisfaction from working with people and making car-buying a fun and stress-free experience. After traveling the world, she's happiest camping in their TentBox on Dartmoor!
